Georgina Hope Swimmers Foundation Junior Excellence Program
Swimming Victoria in conjunction with Swimming Australia coordinates the Georgina Hope Swimmers Foundation Junior Excellence Program (JX). The JX program exists to encourage swimmers to strive to achieve set qualifying times throughout the season. Swimmers who achieve a JX standard time will receive an invitation to the annual JX Forum and a JX Pack that will be distributed by their club.
The Australian Junior Excellence Program (JX), recognises rewards and encourages junior swimmers who, through their development of aquatic skills and fitness, achieve a high standard of swimming excellence.
JX Qualification Period Closing Date
The Junior Excellence (JX) qualification period for 2015/16 will be closing on 4 April 2016. Please ensure that any club meets that are requiring ‘approved’ meet status have been submitted on ClubLANE for processing by your state swimming association. Results from ‘unapproved’ meets will not be considered in the 2015/16 results.
All clubs should ensure that their delivery address and main club contact details are correct in preparation for the 2015/16 JX qualification packs to be distributed. To do this, log in to ClubLANE with your club login details and amend the relevant details. https://admin.swimming.org.au

Changes to the JX Program for 2015-16
Under the revised program, swimmers aged from 9 to 16 years, who accomplish times set by Swimming Australia, qualify at Gold, Silver, Bronze or Green standard, depending on their best performance/s during the season.
For doing so, qualifiers receive special recognition by way of:
- Publication of their name on this website
- A JX prize pack including a cap, poster and certificate.

Multi-Class Point Score (MCPS)
The Multi Class Point Score (MCPS) has been developed to provide a simplified way for swimmers and coaches to measure and compare performances. The MCPS is based on the World Record (WR) times for each classification. The MCPS is used for the JX and YPS programs, determing results in Multi Class competition, as well as team selection and qualifying standards. This provides a clearer development pathway for classified swimmers.
