For many young swimmers the Victorian All Junior Competition is their first taste of racing at MSAC. It’s an exciting milestone for an up and coming swimmer, giving them the confidence and race experience required to go on to compete at Victorian Championships in years to come.

The Country All Junior Competition kicked off two huge weekends of racing in with 823 swimmers, getting through their District elimination rounds to make the trip to Melbourne for the semi finals and finals. The following weekend it was the metro swimmers turn with 1061 enthusiastic athletes taking to the pool.

We saw some great swimming across both weekends, including 3 new Victorian All Junior Records. Congratulations to the following swimmers:

Eran Ni (MIS Swimming Club) Boys 8 & Under 50m Backstroke 40:20
Amity Lansbury (DVE Aquatic) Girls 15 Years 50m Breaststroke 35:17
Lucy Ma (St Leonards) Girls 11 Years 50m Freestyle

Placegetters were awarded with medals and all finalists were given finalists flashes to proudly display. Well done to all our medalists and finalists as well as their coaches and clubs.
