Gippsland to host 2024 Victorian Country LC Championships

Swimming Victoria, together with Gippsland Swimming Inc. and Latrobe City Council, are excited to announce Traralgon as the location for the 2024 Victorian Country LC Championships.

The Championships will be held at the Gippsland Regional Aquatic Centre (GRAC) from 20-22 January 2024.

The brand new, state of the art facility, with it’s 50m indoor pool and 500 spectator seats promises to be the perfect location for the Championships.  

Gippsland Swimming President, Jacqueline Madden is delighted to welcome the Championships to Traralgon.

“It is with much pleasure that Gippsland have once again agreed to host Country Long Course Championships and this time for 2024, at the exciting new facility, Gippsland Regional Aquatic Centre in Traralgon. Along with the staff at the centre, Latrobe City Council and our 7 member clubs, District 21 looks forward to bringing this event to Gippsland for Swimming Victoria” she said.

Swimming Victoria Events Manager, Narelle Holding said: “As experienced hosts of these Championships, we have no doubt that the Gippsland District will deliver a fantastic event at this impressive facility. We are thrilled to once again be working with the district to provide this great competition for the Victorian country swimming community.”

The Victorian Country LC Championships are open to Swimming Victoria registered members of affiliated country clubs.
