Victorian Metropolitan SC Championships Update

29 July 2021
Written by: Swimming Victoria

Swimming Victoria is working hard to ensure that the upcoming Short Course Championships can proceed in line with current COVID regulations and capacity limits.

As you are aware new restrictions were published by the Victorian Government yesterday which will be in place for the next two weeks. These restrictions will have a significant impact on the Victorian Metropolitan SC Championship which are scheduled for the 7-8 August 2021.

The venue capacity limits are strict and there are no exemptions, however, we want to assure you that we are working closely with MSAC on how we can change and adapt the way we run the competition to comply with the guidelines in place.

The qualifying criteria and entry process will remain the same so please continue to get your entries in by 11:59pm Monday 2 August.

We will provide a further update early next week, so make sure you keep an eye on our website and social media channels.

Please note, we are also working closely with the Midlands District regarding the Victorian Country SC Championships and will provide an update on this tomorrow.
