2017 Victorian Sprint Championships Recap & 2018 Season Dates

This past weekend we returned to the outdoor pool at Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre for the last of this year’s championship events – the 2017 Victorian Sprint Championships! Over 1500 athletes came together for two days of fast paced and exciting competition!

Throughout the championships we saw six Victorian records broken, making it a stellar finish to an exceptional championship season. Our full results are online now, and you can view them here!

With the final 2017 Championship event now over, we’d like to thank you all for being a part of this season! We’ve seen some truly incredible performances over the last three months, and it’s been an amazing time to be part of the swimming community!

Now it’s time to start looking forward to the year ahead, and we’ve got some big announcements about our 2018 season! Following the announcement of the 2018 Victorian Country Championships being held in Shepparton, we’re also excited to announce a brand new meet for the next year – the Victorian Relay Competition!
