Swimming Victoria is proud to announce the members of the 2021/22 Victorian State Team.
Following the cancellation of the 2021 Victorian Age Short Course Championships and subsequent 2021 State Teams event in Canberra, Swimming Victoria wanted to provide an opportunity for athletes to be recognised as members of a Victorian team.
Based on performances at the recent Victorian Age LC Championships and/or swimmers rankings, team selection has been made to acknowledge the achievements and athletic abilities that have shone through despite the challenges presented in the past couple of years.
Swimming Victoria’s Acting Performance Pathways Manager, Joanne Love said “The past two years have been challenging on so many fronts. It is heart-warming to see that our swimmer's passion and love for what they do has enabled them to push through the physical and mental barriers. We want to recognise this resilience while encouraging the future swimmers of Victoria.”
