Our short course season kicked off on Friday 28 July with the Short Course Distance Time Trial at MSAC.
Now in its second year, this competition aims to provide more opportunities for swimmers to gain qualifying times for distance events in the lead up to the Short Course Championships. Over 160 swimmers embraced the opportunity, a 30% increase on last year’s numbers.
The action continued across the weekend at the 2023 Victorian Metropolitan SC Championships, with over 1000 swimmers taking to the pool for 2 huge days of racing.
Nunawading again proved themselves as the metro club to beat, finishing top of the club points score with 2485 points, taking out the Club of the Meet. They finished ahead of Surrey Park (1591) and Melbourne Swimming Club (1542). To view the club points score click here.
Well done to everyone involved on a fantastic weekend of swimming!
