With today’s announcement from the Victorian Government of a snap lockdown from 8:00pm tonight Thursday 5 August 2021 it is necessary to CANCEL the 2021 Victorian Metropolitan SC Championships to be held at MSAC on the 7-8 August 2021.
All event entries (including those scheduled for the 22 August) will be automatically refunded. No action is required from members. Funds will be returned to the original card used for payment within 5-10 business days.
The Championships will be postponed and will now be held from 19-22 August 2021 (pending eased restrictions), with evening sessions on Thursday 19 and Friday 20 August. A revised program and new entry process through Swim Central will be developed and communicated next week.
Times achieved will be uploaded to Swim Central and can be used to enter the Victorian Age SC Championships.
There will be an update regarding the 2021 Victorian Country SC Championships on Monday 9 August.
