If you are enthusiastic, friendly, and have a can-do approach, then get ready for the ultimate summer showdown - the FINA World Swimming Championships (25m) – right here on our doorstep, at the iconic MSAC from 13-18 December.
We will need volunteers for:
- Uniform distribution
- Athlete accreditation
- Airport meet and greet
- Hotel liaisons
- FINA support
- Pre-meet training roles
- Numerous competition roles
In fact, there will be over 250 volunteer roles available. Choose from a selection of dates and from morning, afternoon and evening shifts, starting from approximately 28 November 2022.
Along with the opportunity to be part of the ultimate summer showdown, see the world's greatest swimmers, and connect with a broad volunteer network, all volunteers will receive:
- Training
- Support and Equipment
- An awesome event uniform
- A dedicated volunteer marquee to chill out and grab a snack
- Appropriate meal provision
We will provide more detail around the typical duties, skills and expectations required, including time periods, for those with parenting and carer responsibilities, and those with community commitments and observing faith.
There will be roles for both over 18/years and under 18/years.
All volunteers over 18/years, must hold a current Working with Children Check (or other State equivalent).
