2016/17 Season - Volunteer of the Year

Do you have a volunteer that goes above and beyond every day to help your club?

Swimming Victoria is seeking nominations for extraordinary, dedicated and inspirational members to recognise their contribution within the Victorian swimming community. We wish to recognise individuals whose service and contributions have made a significant difference at club level.

Swimming Victoria acknowledges that much of the work that goes on behind the scenes to ensure the effective running of a swimming club often goes unnoticed. We would like to recognise individuals who work tirelessly within the club environment and thank them for the work they in a volunteer capacity.

Nominations may include a club parent that continues to support club fundraising at every opportunity, or a club committee member that has found new innovative ways to increase club membership, that person that is always at the club helping in any way they can. Whatever the outstanding contribution, we want to know about it!

When filling out the nomination form, the nominator must ensure that all sections are completed and provide specific examples on how the nominee’s contribution has been outstanding and made a difference. Consideration will be given to volunteers whose contribution has made a significant difference in club membership, club governance and club atmosphere.

All nominations are confidential and will be assessed by the Swimming Victoria Board.

Swimming Victoria recommends that the individual being nominated should not be advised of their nomination or approached to provide additional information for the nomination.
