As a result of new legislation in Victoria it is likely that a lot more volunteers in swimming will need to have a Working with Children Check.  The Legislation requires clubs to ensure that they are compliant and monitor volunteers on a regular basis.  This means that you must check regularly for expired, suspended or revoked WWCC.  We recommend that clubs do this on a weekly basis.

To save you and your club time and effort in doing this, Swimming Victoria has invested in Everproof (formally BlueQ), an online platform that allows anyone to upload certifications and qualifications, such as Working with Children Checks and coaching qualifications just to name a few. When they have done so you can see at a glance who is compliant and receive reminders when someone's qualification needs renewing. Everproof will automatically do your compliance check every 7 days.

All committee members, coaches, technical officials, team managers and any volunteer that has a role at a swimming club must upload their WWCC to Everproof.  Even if you are only a member and have a WWCC we encourage you to have an Everproof account  Please contact your club if you have not received an email asking you to accept your account.

Once your email is received we encourage you to click on the link and accept your account.  It only takes a few minutes to complete.  Add your WWCC details and upload a copy of your card.  Everproof can also be used to store all your qualifications.  This then becomes your personal file for all your qualifications forever!
