The Beyond the Pool program is a initiative that provides a holistic personal and professional development pathway for swimmers beyond traditional competition. The program supports athletes, who already have a solid grounding through sport, to become leaders within the community and achieve every success in the workforce.
Swimming Victoria’s Beyond the Pool program already incorporates Developing Young Leaders. We are extending the program to include 3 online sessions throughout the year, after the in-person Developing Young Leaders session.
Clubs are invited to nominate swimmers for the upcoming season, who have the potential to be future leaders and role models within our sport and community. It is recommended that swimmers are aged 15 to 17 years
