School Sport Victoria Classification
Classification is used to place athletes of similar ability or function into groups for the purpose of competition. Classification considers an athlete’s medical condition and physical, sensory and cognitive attributes to group them into classes. In Australia classification is used to ensure fair and meaningful competition at all levels.

Pro Forma- Please complete this along with copies of supporting documentation and return to Swimming Victoria, as per instructions on the form. If classification is required for a specific school meet please ensure the form is submitted at least 2 weeks prior to the meet.
