Our Junior Dolphins have wrapped up an impressive campaign at the World Aquatics World Junior Championships in Israel, bringing home 24 medals, including 9 Gold, 7 Silver and 8 Bronze.

Australia finished in second place on the medal tally behind the USA (33 medals), with Canada securing third (13 medals).

Nunawading’s Isabella Boyd and her coach Jol Finck were part of the team. The 18-year-old was an influential member of the medley relay teams, winning Gold in the Women’s 4x100m Medley Relay and Silver in the Mixed 4x100m Medley Relay, swimming the Butterfly leg in both.

In her individual events, Isabella swam a personal best time of 26.60 to finish in 5th place in the Women’s 50m Butterfly final. She also made the final of the Women’s 100m Butterfly, finishing in 7th place (59.62) and came 11th in the Women’s 200m IM.

Congratulations Isabella and Jol!
