Our Victorian All Junior Competition kicked off with 885 country swimmers taking to the MSAC pool for 2 huge days of racing on 16-17 March.

After getting through their district elimination rounds, the swimmers made the trip to Melbourne for the semi finals and finals. For many of them it was their first time racing at MSAC, a memorable moment for a young swimmer!

We saw some great swimming across the weekend, including 4 new Victorian All Junior Records. Congratulations to the following swimmers:

Darcy Connell (Traralgon) Boys 16 Years 50m Butterfly 26.74
Luke Gallagher (Ballarat GCO) Boys 15 Years 50m Breaststroke 31.74
Matthew Mace (Wangaratta) Boys 15 Years 50m Backstroke 29.70
Jessica Whiting (Traralgon) Girls 16 Years 50m Butterfly 29.02

Placegetters were awarded medals and all finalists were given finalists flashes to proudly display. Well done to all our medalists and finalists as well as their coaches and clubs.
