With the Swimming Victoria competition season nearly done for 2018/19 it’s understandable if you might want to take a breather from thinking about swimming and your club.
However next season will be upon us before we know it. That’s why we run our Club Conference each year around this time to help all our clubs begin preparations for another great year. So save the date Sunday 2 JUNE 2019 for the 2019 Swimming Victoria Club Conference at MSAC 8.30am-2pm.
Our clubs tell us that one of the best things about Club Conference is the opportunity to network with other clubs and hear what they are doing well. You may get some ideas that can help your club. With this in mind we are setting aside some specific time during the conference for this to happen.
We have a great line up workshops planned, including sessions on making great committees and making compliance easy. We also welcome Don Elgin as our keynote speaker, who will discuss creating environments that build great humans.
Running side by side with our annual Young Leaders Conference we will then roll on to the 2019 Swimming Victoria and asctaVIC Awards. Morning tea and lunch is provided at the Club Conference. So come along and make a day of it.
