Swimming Victoria is excited to launch the inaugural Victorian Open Water Championships Series (VOWCS). The series marks the beginning of a reinvigorated Open Water Championships format which will provide more opportunities for Victorians to compete in open water events and more opportunities to become a Victorian Open Water State Champion!
We’ve partnered with Williamstown, Jan Juc, Mornington, Mt Martha, Half Moon Bay and Mentone Life Saving Clubs to deliver this exciting summer series, which includes the following events:

Swimmers who wish to take part in the Victorian Open Water Championships must register with Swimming Victoria and meet the minimum requirements for their age/distance as outlined in the Competition Information booklet. Please note – swimmers must also register with the surf lifesaving club for each competition in which they wish to swim.
