Calling all coaches! The annual asctaVIC Conference is coming up on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 September 2018 at Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (MSAC). With a great line up of presenters, practical sessions, trade display and networking, you won’t want to miss it!
The conference caters to all coaches at all levels and there will be a vast array of specialised topics to cover everyone’s interests. Attendees will have access to a range of industry experts to help further their development, including:
- Vince Rayleigh – Chandler High Performance Coach. Vince is a Platinum Level License Coach, having coached multiple swimmers to win medals at Olympic Games, World Swimming Championships, Pan Pacs and Commonwealth Games.
- Shannon Rollason - Six-time Gold medal winning coach currently the Head Coach of the ACT Performance Hub where he provides a high performance-based program at the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS). Shannon was previously head coach at the AIS from 2006-2012, then moved to Denmark as the National Head Coach and became the Danish head coach for the 2016 Rio Olympics.
- Scott Talbot - Nunawading High Performance Coach, with over 17 years of swimming at national level. Scott is a 2-time Olympian as a swimmer and has coached swimmers at the past two Olympics.
- Joanne Love – Paralympic and Olympic coach, who has coached world record holders and Olympic medallists. Joanne is now spending her time helping both athletes and coaches to create a performance mindset and produce powerful positive outcomes in the swim school industry.
The Coaches Dinner on Saturday 22 September at the Bayview Eden will be an opportunity to come together in a more relaxed setting and debrief after a busy day.
