Victorians named for Gold Coast Games

Following four days of sensational swimming on the Gold Coast at the 2018 Hancock Prospecting Australian Swimming Trials, a 70-strong Australian Swim Team has been named, including the following Victorian athletes and coaches:

Hayley Baker (MVC), coached by Tracey Menzies – National Training Centre
Joshua Beaver (NTC), coached by Ash Delaney
Emily Beecroft (TRL), coached by Dean Gooch
Timothy Disken (PLC), coached by Yuriy Vdovychenko – National Training Centre
Matthew Haanappel (CATR), coached by Matt Belgiovane
Jessica Hansen (NUN), coached by Scott Talbot
Mack Horton (MVC), coached by Craig Jackson
Ashleigh McConnell (MVC), coached by Kenrick Monk
Madeleine Scott (NUN), coached by Scott Talbot

Rohan Taylor – Mentor Coach
Craig Jackson – Coach

They will be joined by Victorian technical officials, Harold Gusdorf, Jacqueline Madden and Damien Van de Berg who have been appointed to officiate at the Games.

We are extremely proud of these swimmers, coaches and officials and can’t wait to see them in action on the Gold Coast!
