Proficiency
Proficiency Meets, provide swimmers an opportunity to gain a range of awards by reaching the relevant time standards in the four swimming strokes. These meets are technique focused, non-competitive and allow swimmers to track their progress by applying for and achieving higher awards each year.
Swimming Victoria no longer create the programs for districts. Each district is responsible for creating the program and only needs to provide Swimming Victoria with the results and the details of swimmers who have passed.
